Boca Raton, FL August 16, 1999 (ICB TOLL FREE NEWS) When the owners of Sal's Restaurant & Pizzeria in Boca Raton, Florida, began planning their expansion some two years ago, they became one of the first members of the 1-888 NEED A PIZZA network of independent pizza makers.

They knew they had to take care of a crucial issue: make sure they had a marketing plan with a lasting effect. "We knew we needed one, but we didn't have the slightest idea how to get it. "What I liked was the fact that 1-888-NEED-A-PIZZA was almost impossible to forget and I thought that people would dial a number they knew by heart from my delivery area," added Frank Pito, President. "So after some initial hesitation, we added 'our' 1-888-NEED-A-PIZZA to our pizza boxes and flyers, and we generated an additional $300,000.00 per year, just for having done that."
